Avoid using those wrapped plastic cups, especially if the hotel supplies glass ones in the room. And don't take the hotels pens, paper, and other freebies. Leave them for the next guest. Lastly, if you have the option, check out electronically through your hotel TV to reduce paper waste. Many hotels are taking steps to be more environmentally minded. Working together you can lighten the impact of your stay.
