Apple introduces the iPad

At an Apple press event, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announces the iPad. The new mobile device is a half-inch thin and weighs 1.5 pounds. It's powered with a 1GHz Apple A4 chip and comes with 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The new device plays movies, music, TV shows, and acts as an e-reader. It will cost $499 for the 16GB version.

ok what a joke. Who wants to pay 500$ for 16 gb, and that in an over
sized reader with internet. Remember, you have a netbook and a
cellphone which both have surfing capabilities? what is the magic??
another thing that will end up in the junk yard after everybody showed them self with it in Starbucks, and that for 16gb, what a joke. Which
reminds me, I am going to Starbucks, anyone got a free Ipad, just
asking happy

Whatta gadget!! But can it use for working? Since there's no OS and
only 16 GB inside, it's more like smartphones than lappy.
