I think the concept is brilliant from both a business and consumer point of view. This product shows the world that Microsoft is concerned about the planet and hopefully they will allow 'apps' to be written to work off of this product for other green applications. As a consumer it allows me to see just what my energy footprint looks like and shows me how I can make a smaller impact on the planet. It really seems like a good idea.
