Time Warner Telecom on Wednesday announced it has won a five-year contract to deliver local telecom services to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, according to a Time Warner Telecom statement. The broadband provider says it is extending its network to provide the service through a private, secure connection. As part of the deal, Time Warner Telecom will provide more than 20,000 phone numbers, 21 lines located throughout Central Florida that are used to measure sound and seismic activity during launches, as well as other services and equipment.
