What you need to know: Trevor Baylis Eco Media Player
We like:
Wind-up power; phone-charger function; SD card storage; the torch
We don't like:
The price; chunky design; poor video quality; slow to upload music
SmartPlanet judgement:
It's not a viable alternative to an iPod but for a green media player, we can't help but like this chunky thing. It adapts well to a number of music and video formats, and though it's not particularly user-friendly, the sound quality is good and there are plenty of useful extras like the dictaphone, phone-charging function and simple file management.
