DIY Kyoto's Wattson employs a canny way of making electricity usage come to life -- it glows a dull blue when you're not using much, and lights up as a fiery red when using lotsa watts
Typical price £150

Summary:
I want to like it, but I don’t
I like:
The cool design and the idea of monitoring our power usage
I don't like:
The very high price and that complex software
Review

Sounds like a really interesting product, but if Adam Vaughan, who is a true-blue gadget geek, found the software, according to his video, "hard to set up" then what price us non-gadget loving civilians? It's also way too expensive and so is probably destined to become yet another iPod like status symbol for the more money than sense crowd. Apart from that it looks fab though...
