The organic thoroughness; the atmosphere; the pioneering spirit

The pudding

This is possibly the best pub in the world for a green fan. It serves up a fantastic variety of organic drinks, there's a green or ethical thought behind everything from making sure the candles are made from organic palm oil to having the space be on a green energy tariff. The food as pub grub would be really good too, but as restaurant food our starter and dessert didn't quite cut the mustard. We'll go back anytime, though.

The Duke of Cambridge in Angel, London, is the role-model for any company that aspires to be green and ethical. It's the first pub to get the Soil Association certification and you can feel its pioneering spirit. Continue reading...
