What it is
London restaurant that sources its ingredients from London
What you need to know: Konstam at the Prince Albert
We like:
The food; our dinner's low number of food miles; the atmosphere; the service
We don't like:
Not much actually, but it would have been great to see more organic certifications for meat, farm-produced vegetables and cheese
SmartPlanet judgement:
We would dine at Konstam every day if we lived in the area and could afford it. The atmosphere is as homely as the big rustic portions and the staff (including the chef) are engaging and know exactly where every single ingredient comes from. The only thing that could possibly make Konstam better in our eyes is a little more transparency on the organic and Fairtrade side of things.
