Apex Dundee City Quay Hotel and Spa Review

We like:

The huge rooms; the luxurious bathrooms and toiletries

We don't like:

The weather; the confusing overhead walkway from Dundee train station

SmartPlanet judgement:

Apex is going for eco-chic with its classy rooms and green treats, and we were suitably impressed, our favourite thing being the spa, which doesn't use any nasty chemicals and relaxed us thoroughly. We were also pleased to be eating local and seasonal cuisine.

We have to admit that we didn't know anything about Dundee before arriving one chilly November evening. Shamefully, we left none the wiser, as we spent the small amount of time we had in the hotel's green spa while it blew a gale outside. Continue reading...
