We like:
The floor-to-ceiling windows; the proximity to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales
We don't like:
The huge plasma TV screen
SmartPlanet judgement:
These cottages are indeed of the affordable luxury variety, which we certainly like, but their green credentials are limited. Since they advertise themselves to be the first luxury sustainable holiday location, we're not too pleased.

Full review:
The single-storey Aislabeck cottages are tucked beneath a wooded hillside overlooking the Swale Valley, a mile from the market town of Richmond. We stayed in Cowslip Cottage, one of three more secluded residences a little further up the hill from the main group of cottages, which are arranged in a line in front of a large pond.
