We did think £845 was expensive for a mattress, but after having slept on the Warren Evans Natra Organic mattress for ten weeks, we have no more concerns about the price. It's improved our quality of sleep massively and it just makes us feel good knowing that it's 100 per cent organic -- chemical-free and environmentally friendly, that is -- and made by hand in the UK. How did we ever sleep before? |
We don't usually get psyched about dining tables, but this one did it for us. Designed by Terence Conran of Habitat fame, the quality shows right through from the classic lines and form to the finished workmanship of the product. It's also spotless on the green and ethical front, with certified sustainable wood from Europe and manufacturing done in the UK. If you can afford to splash the cash, you won't be disappointed. |
Manufactured with German carbon-neutral efficiency, this impressive eco paint shows that you don't have to sacrifice green credentials to match the performance of traditional paint. It's effortless to apply, it gets good-looking results and is very well priced. |
The frame design is basic and the teak finish we chose looks a bit fake. Don't be fooled, though. This bed is a sturdy one and of very high quality. We appreciate the FSC certification and the company's ethical track-record. Matched with our organic mattress, we really can't imagine getting a better, greener or more ethical night's sleep. At £405 it's more expensive that your ordinary Dreams king size bed, but there's no doubt in our minds that it's worth it. |
