SmartPlanet judgement:
A padded ring sling should be great in theory -- quick to use and adjust, easy for breastfeeding, suitable for a range of ages. But the Huggababy just didn't work for either of our testers. The strap doesn't pass smoothly through the rings, which made it hard to adjust to a comfortable fit. We also felt the undyed fabric was impractical, as it's basically white. White doesn't mix with babies.

This Huggababy baby carrier is a padded ring sling: a single length of fabric, passing over one shoulder, done up using a pair of large metal rings instead of knots. So it's very quick to adjust it to fit a baby. The diagonal swag of fabric acts as a cradle for a newborn, or can be used to hold an older baby upright.
