What you need to know: Warren Evans King Size Shaker Bed
We like:
The FSC certification; that it's handmade; Warren Evans' green and ethical creds
We don't like:
That the teak finish looks a little fake; that Warren Evans doesn't tell us what the 'nitro-stain' actually is
SmartPlanet judgement:
The frame design is basic and the teak finish we chose looks a bit fake. Don't be fooled, though. This bed is a sturdy one and of very high quality. We appreciate the FSC certification and the company's ethical track-record. Matched with our organic mattress, we really can't imagine getting a better, greener or more ethical night's sleep. At £405 it's more expensive that your ordinary Dreams king size bed, but there's no doubt in our minds that it's worth it.
