The idea of a nappy that folds in and out so you don't need to replace it as your child grows is an excellent one. It saves you money and it saves on resources. Here, it's carried out successfully, though it's a bit unsettling to see a very young infant with a very large bum. But it works -- for all ages -- soaking up lots, drying quickly and fitting snugly. And it comes with the Canadian organic certification equivalent to the Soil Association.

The main attraction of these one-size nappies is that you can fold them over on themselves to suit a newborn baby or use them on their biggest fastenings to fit a toddler. So one set of nappies will see you through about two years before potty training. Continue reading...
