Not wanting to sound like a Marks and Sparks ad here, but this isn't just a lamp, it's a Luau Lamp. It feels like it's going to last for years with its super tough exterior and metal carrying handle and at night, this beauty really comes into her own. It will be the one piece of furniture that will spark up the conversation among your friends and if you're not careful, they'll probably try to steal it, so you'd best hide the base unit. The only downside is the fearsome price.

From the moment we unpacked the Luau, we fell in love with it. There's no superfluous packaging -- almost everything is recyclable, it's simple to assemble, coupled with good instructions and, once it was charged, couldn't have been easier to use. Continue reading...
