Review

This is a great chocolate bar with rich, bittersweet chocolate combined with a hint of vanilla to add something special to the flavour. Blakes is a relatively small Irish company who produce organic, Fairtrade chocolate to a truly outstanding level. The chocolate melts in the mouth and leaves an almost sweet aftertaste in the mouth. I would also recommend this chocolate for cooking as its high cocoa solids percentage makes it great for cakes. The only downside is that the bitterness is slightly overpowering meaning it loses some of its flavour and I found I didn't properly notice the vanilla before I read it on the 100% recycled paper wrapping.
