What you need to know: Jordans Organic Fruit & Fibre Cereal

Tags: organic
We like:
The taste; the Soil Association certification; the recycled, recyclable and compostable packaging
We don't like:
The paucity of raisins, sultanas and nuts; that not all wheat is UK-sourced
SmartPlanet judgement:
This is a bona fide ethical British cereal that doesn't compromise on taste. As well as recycled and compostable packaging, it cuts down on food miles by sourcing UK wheat and features an ingredients list where you’ll recognise everything -- there are no dodgy lab chemicals here. Our only nitpick? More nuts and dried fruit, please!

Domaine de la Grande Bellane Organic Côtes du Rhône Villages 2006
It's a real boozer wine that's too alcoholic for us -- we like the Ecocert certification, though
Divine Milk Chocolate Bar 45g
A small milk chocolate bar made from Ghanian beans that meet the Fairtrade Foundation's standards
Divine 70% Dark Chocolate 6 Pack
Six 14g bars of very dark fairtrade and vegan chocolate from the farmer-owned Divine Chocolate.
Waitrose Italian Organic Bianco Moncaro 2007 Marche
It's an inoffensive, good, Italian white wine with the distinct green advantage that the grapes have been grown organically
ASDA Organics La Mancha Blanco 2006
It's not all that good on its own, but would be fine if mixed with something sweet. We like its organic certification, but aren't too pleased with ASDA's poor ethical performance
