Ethletic Classic Low Cut Sneakers Review
SmartPlanet judgement: Ethletic scores highly on every front. The FairDeal Trading Partnership pays two Fairtrade premiums and uses organic cotton and FSC-certified rubber. The trainers' robust design means they won't fall to pieces; they're comfortable, affordable and fashionable. What more could you want from a shoe?
Worn Again Escape Trainers Review
SmartPlanet judgement: These recycled trainers look awesome, feel incredibly comfortable and -- miraculously -- make recycling fashionable. While we love the landfill-fighting aspect, we'd like to see some more certification or guarantees that they were made without sweatshop labour.

SmartPlanet judgement:
Enamore Sophia Shorty Knickers Review
SmartPlanet judgement: These pants are expensive. There's no other way to put it. But we do think you get a top-notch product for your £39. The design, quality and fabric are fantastic, they're made in the UK and more than a third of the fabric is organic cotton. We just wish there was more information available on Enamore's site about the workers who produce the fabric.
Pants to Poverty Condom Pocket Pants Review
SmartPlanet judgement: Unless you don't like the tomboy-design, there's really nothing not to like about these pants. They're certified organic and Fairtrade and have been thought up by a company that exists to fight poverty -- not just to make money. Details such as not using packaging and Pants to Poverty's openness about everything makes us fancy these pants even more.
Luva Huva Yellow Border Anglaise Knickers Review
SmartPlanet judgement: They're feminine, they're cute, they're handmade in the UK and they are made from fabric that would have otherwise been binned. We really like these Luva Huva knickers, but would have liked them to stay in place. A few more green and ethical details would have been great, too.
Howies Women's NBL Graphite Light Briefs Review
SmartPlanet judgement: These 100 per cent Zque-certified merino wool pants are cool and brilliant for sport as well as for everyday wear. More information about how they've been manufactured and dyed would have been greatly appreciated -- not knowing would make us hesitant to buy them. The quality is fantastic, though, and 'howies' is a good, green company, so there are major plus sides to this product, too.
Marks & Spencer Fairtrade Pure Cotton Crew Neck Top Review
SmartPlanet judgement: We've grown to like M&S a lot -- mainly through its Plan A initiatives, but also because of the quality of its everyday products, and this top is no exception. We like wearing it and we like its Fairtrade certification. But, we're very disappointed that there's virtually no specific info to be found -- especially when it comes to green credentials.
Teko EcoPoly Light Hiking Sock Review
SmartPlanet judgement: Yet another manufacturer shows that putting an emphasis on ethically sourced and recycled materials can result in some of the highest quality products around. These beautifully comfy and practical socks won't grow your carbon footprint.
