Who'd have thought you can get ethical socks for the same price as you'd pay in any department store?
Now bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, so therefore it is very sustainable. Bamboo requires no pesticides to grow and once transformed in bamboo fiber is 100% biodegradable. The fibers are also antibacterial and anti static - so no smelly feet or shocks from your Gwiz/Bicycle/Public Transport!
The factories used to make the fiber have strong ethical policies and the company also plant a tree for almost all of the garments sold.
However, converting wood (well grass actually) into fiber requires more energy than converting other materials like organic cotton into usable fabric - and more energy ain't good.
All in all, a comfy, practical garment that is highly sustainable and ethically produced - top marks!
