I totally disagree with myfanwyclogau. You have no clue what you are talking about. First of all, the two biggest supporters of Organic cotton are Wal-Mart and Nike. Just because someone isn't doing all organic or all recycled doesn't mean that they aren't responsible. If you knew sustainable materials you would understand that there isn't enough to go around and there never will be. Some businesses like Patagonia can do this because of their size and following. But, what about Timerland, Nike, and other companies using it? My compay is a producer of work wear clothing. We've introduced organic items and I can 100% tell you it's not to just make a profit. We really care about the environment and our sustainable office and shipping methods are better than anyone else out there. But we can't be all organic or all recycled fabrics. We would go out of business. As a business, you need to take gradual steps in improving and Timberland has. They have more than 10% line internationally using organic materials and more than that when you combine recycled content. They use more and more each year. You can't just jump in one day and say, let's change our business and be totally socially responsible. It takes time, energy and research. Lots and lots of research.

So do me a favor myfanwyclogau, learn a little bit more about the textile industry and then get back to me. But until then, dont talk because you sound stupid.
