these trainers made me very sad; although I loved then for the brief time I owned them, they fell apart within a month - making the use of rubber from sustainably managed forests a little superfluous given how quickly they wore out.

I contacted the company about the problem, as waste of this sort is clearly not in line with their company ethos; they said there had been a problem with the temperature at which they were setting the rubber and would send me a new pair, but never did; I contected them about this promise several times, then gave up. A real shame; if they want to actually sell these trainers as a long term ethical and environmental alternative to those more readily available, they need to address these issues.
