We like:

The fact that they're a heck of a lot easier to walk in than the massive, scary-looking platforms on this season's catwalks

We don't like:

That they don't come in half sizes; the price

We love the nod to current footwear trends, and the eco and ethical creds certainly put a spring in our step, but we'd really like to see more certification of eco materials and ethical manufacture.

Spring/Summer 2008 is undeniably the season of fanciful footwear. There'll be no escaping the millions of elaborately coloured jumbo wedges and vertiginous platforms out there, but going one step further and adding ethical kudos to the mix (not to mention wearability) is Beyond Skin.
