SmartPlanet judgement A few marigold petals, a bit of oil and some sugar -- that's £35, please. It sounds outrageous, we know. But then we tried this body scrub and now we're just amazed how Spiezia has managed to create such a brilliant body care product from edible ingredients. The company's attention to green details -- from the Soil Association certification to the compost heap -- really impresses us, too.
What can we say? It could have been more organic, it could have included a dispenser and it could have come in a recycled bottle. But turns out you can buy pumps from NYR and besides, the stuff inside is so perfect that we're willing to forgive.
If you don't mind smelling slightly of cookies and having a few light-brown shades on your sheets, this is possibly the best it gets when it comes to self-tan lotions. It's natural-looking, easy to use and chemical-free. In short, it's great.
It's not for kids -- as the SPF rating is too low -- but it's the answer to our vain prayers to get protection from the sun and a tan at the same time. This makes us really like it. What makes us love it, though, is that over 80 per cent of the ingredients are certified organic and it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals.
