We've always held The Body Shop in high esteem for its pioneering spirit, which is one of the reasons why we are particularly disappointed with this body lotion. It works brilliantly, but it is far from natural -- containing parabens and other nasties. Other than ingredients such as Community Trade oil, all green and ethical points awarded to this product are because of The Body Shop's general values and practices.

We really respect and appreciate the late Dame Anita Roddick and The Body Shop for introducing campaigning and politics into consumerism and, because of that, being one of the main building blocks for ethical consumerism as we know it. Continue reading...
