What you need to know: Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar
We like:
The lather; that it's not tested on animals; the minimal packaging (a tiny paper bag); the hours of fun (sounds sad, but it's true)
We don't like:
The dubious cocamide DEA and colour 42045 ingredients
SmartPlanet judgement:
This is an out-of-the-ordinary shampoo that cleans our hair very well, and although it does create a slight dryness -- as all soap bars we've ever tried do -- it makes our locks pretty soft and shiny. We really like the idea of a shampoo bar with actual bits of plants in -- seaweed in this case -- and the attention that has been paid to the (lack of) packaging. We'd rather be without the cocamide DEA and colour 42045 ingredients, though. Even if it meant compromising a little on performance and aesthetics.
