In 2005, Spirit revealed this image of a place that contained sulfur and possibly a trace of water. It's most likely a volcanic deposit formed around gas vents.

Mars should be landed on by humans.
Mars should be the next project for Space Exploration. Man needs to find out all it can.
Perhaps the question of " are there others besides us " will be one day answered.
