The "Home Plate" area investigated by Spirit showed evidence of volcanos as it showed coarse grains that were likely spread by an explosion falling on top of finer material in this enhanced image.

Mars should be landed on by humans.
Mars should be the next project for Space Exploration. Man needs to find out all it can.
Perhaps the question of " are there others besides us " will be one day answered.
