Our sister site ZDNet.co.uk is looking for the UK's top DIY tech project -- so show them what you're made of and your Homebrew project could win you a Prius.
If you round off the working day by going home, shutting the front door, and rolling your sleeves up to get stuck into your pet tech project, this is for you. Perhaps you've put in solid-state lighting in every room, installed a distributed home entertainment set-up or designed a home automation system with a web interface. Well, now's the time to transform that project into a car.
As regular SmartPlaneteers will know, the Prius is pretty damn green, using a hybrid combo of electric battery, regenerative braking and old skool petrol engine that put the car top in the small family car class (according to our government friends). The blue Toyota up for grabs at ZDNet.co.uk is worth £20,000, complete with sat-nav and Bluetooth. And even if you don't win, you could win a Homebrew T-shirt if you're one of the first 50 entrants.
Enter the competiton here -- before it closes on 9 December 2007.
