Win! A Solio Classic Hybrid Charger

The solar powered Solio Classic Charger
Tech News People News
Channels: Tech News, People News Tags: solar power, survey

This is your last chance to win a Solio Classic Hybrid Charger worth £50. Just complete a survey before 4 February lunchtime to help us find out a bit more about you.

What are you interested in? Are a product's green credentials more important to you than the name of the brand? Do you mainly look for ethical baby clothes or is it eco-friendly gadgets that take your fancy? Do you recycle often or rarely?

On completing the survey you'll automatically be entered into the competition for one of five Solio Classic Hybrid Chargers. It stores power from the sun -- or socket on a grey day -- for you to charge your iPod, mobile phone or any other hand-held devices at minimal cost to the environment. On top of that it actually looks pretty cool too.

Take out our survey here.

The prices on the website are in dollars. Do you know if they deliver to the UK?
Also they say they are working on one for laptops - I can't wait for that - then I can be truly mobile and work in the park/beach for as long as I want.

Hiya Tinyfeet, no probs, they're usually £50 in the UK - Amazon stock em as you've discovered, so do Ethical Superstore and Firebox. If you're after solar charging for a laptop, check out Voltaic's new Generator bag:

It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product
LG 32LG5000
Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
Brompton M3L Folding Bike
This British-made folding bike has small wheels but goes for big money -- and is built for practicality
Dahon Jack 2008 Folding Bike
Bigger wheels do mean better speed and stability -- but a bigger, more awkward folded form, too
Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000
You won't find a better TV for picture in its class, but you will find ones with superior green credentials
