Every month we pick out our top reviews written by you, SmartPlanet's ridiculously good-looking readers. This month's winners, Denniscuddles and Ali Hunt, will shortly get a bottle of organic champagne in the post from Vintage Roots by way of a thank you.
Denniscuddles on the economic SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive (pictured)
In my third week of ownership and am still trying to decide how best to grasp the ignition key when I start the engine - thumb on top, or thumb underneath? Either way the key is angled to coincide with the precise point at which my grip is weakest. Perhaps grasping it in my fist would be more effective. This, along with the awful purply-pink dashboard lighting and the lack of storage spaces, is one of the few niggles I have with a car that deserves better recognition of its green credentials.
Ali Hunt on Amazing Bamboo Socks
Who'd have thought you can get ethical socks for the same price as you'd pay in any department store? Now bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, so therefore it is very sustainable. Bamboo requires no pesticides to grow and once transformed in bamboo fiber is 100% biodegradable. The fibers are also antibacterial and anti static - so no smelly feet or shocks from your G-wiz/Bicycle/Public Transport!
Watch this space and keep reviewing -- there are some cool solar prizes lurking in the SmartPlanet cupboard that we'll be offering as a thank you for writing user reviews in June and July.
