March's champagne-winning user reviews

Organic champagne could be yours

As regular visitors will know, we like reviewing sustainably designed, ethically produced and beautiful-looking products. But we also love to hear your reviews of products and, fortunately, you've not been shy sharing your opinions. So now we'd like to say thanks by picking our three favourite user reviews from March -- and sending the winners a bottle of organic champagne from Vintage Roots.

First up is jbola13's verdict on Veja's ethically minded Volley trainers. Her insight into the trainer's short and not-very-green shelf life -- "although I loved them for the brief time I owned them, they fell apart within a month" -- earns her a bottle of organic bubbly. Enjoy.

We also loved MissB for giving us her lowdown on new green clean kid on the block, Simply Sensitive. As she says in her review, "I can't tell any difference in using this and using Ariel." Considering we rated Ariel very highly for its cleaning prowess, that's a welcome accolade indeed. The champagne's on its way, MissB.

Last up is carol, who quite rightly brings to the world's attention the peculiar noises emanating from the energy-saving Tefal Quick Cup kettle. Even more usefully, she points out a handy way to pick up the £60 kettle on the cheap: "I bought this for £44 online from Currys with free delivery." Enjoy the champagne, carol, though maybe not at the same time as your tea.

Thanks to everyone else who submitted a review in March --  your views and opinions really count.

The good news is that if you missed March, you could be in with a chance of winning some organic champagne by writing a review this April. Vintage Roots is once again kindly offering three bottles of organic Champagne Carte Rouge from Champagne Fleury.

To stand a chance of winning a bottle, all you have to do is either write a review of an existing product on SmartPlanet (why not browse our reviews to see what you've played with at home, or use our search?), or add a new review to the site using our simple form.

What we're looking for: insightful, entertaining and well-written reviews of any green and ethical products. Hopefully we'll see you here this time next month. Good luck!
