Do you know your carbon footprint? That's the question we put to shoppers at London's Borough Market this month to see if people really have a clue what it means, and how they weigh in compared to the UK average of 11 tonnes per person. As you'll see, it looks like most people now actually know what a carbon footprint is (phew!). But they still have no idea how big theirs is.
We've got one Smart Planeteer just below average and one that's about half the UK average here. To find out your rating, try the government's rather good carbon calculator and keep an eye out in your local Tesco in the new year -- the supermarket monster's planning to add carbon footprint labels to all its products very soon.

It came from the earth and is going back to the earth, so I don't recycle squat or worry one iota about it. And for those who find that appalling, then I suggest you quit excreting your poo and piss - keep it to yourself!!!!!!!!!!
