Today it's day one of Biofach, the world's biggest organic fair. Also, Royal Mail has announced its launch of digital letters to help cut CO2 emissions -- does it get any more exciting?

World organic fair opens today
Biofach, the world's biggest organic fair, opens today in Nuremberg in Germany with 120 countries represented, 3,000 exhibitors and an estimated 50,000 visitors. We'll be there over the weekend checking out all the organic goodies. Watch this space.

EnerJar is top green gadget
At the Greener Gadgets Conference in New York City, which joins people from the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world and innovators, the DIY EnerJar won first prize. Its purpose in life is to sit between plugs and energy-consuming devices and show us how much electricity is used -- and thereby encourage us to use less, we guess.

Gorgeous fair trade silk scarves
Casa Copenhagen has just launched a range of fair trade silk scarves. We love the amazing colours (above). Get them on your Mother's Day wish list, mummies -- they range from £36 to £41.

Royal Mail helps cut our carbon footprint
Royal Mail is trying to catch up with emails by promising to help us cut our (mail) carbon footprint by 80 per cent by using a new software system, ViaPost, which integrates all word processing programmes and conveys letters digitally to the ViaPost printing depot closest to the receiver. The letters are then printed, folded, put into envelopes and delivered by hand by Royal Mail.

It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product
LG 32LG5000
Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
Brompton M3L Folding Bike
This British-made folding bike has small wheels but goes for big money -- and is built for practicality
Dahon Jack 2008 Folding Bike
Bigger wheels do mean better speed and stability -- but a bigger, more awkward folded form, too
Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000
You won't find a better TV for picture in its class, but you will find ones with superior green credentials
