Today's green news flash takes us through Sophie Young's new renewable lingerie, Divine's free giveaway and KT Tunstall's Forestry Commission gigs this summer.
Putting the wood into your lingerie
And we thought wearing bamboo, hemp and organic cotton undies kept us ahead of the curve. Top ethical fashion boutique By Nature has just launched a new range of ladies' lingerie and men's boxers-cum-knickers made from white pine tree pruning (pictured). Yep, these pants designed by Sophie Young give new meaning to the term to the term 'got wood?' Ethics should be pretty good, as all the undies are made in France. Boxer knickers are £27, the bras cost £40.
Free Divine chocs
As if there wasn't enough free Fairtrade chocolate being given away by us, ethical chocolatier Divine is offering you a free bar in return for filling in a form.
KT Tunstall plays for the trees
Tickets go on sale this Friday for Scottish eco troubadour KT Tunstall's summer Forestry Commission gigs. The shows on 6 June and 15 June and the £27.50 tickets raise cash for the commission to spend on eco projects.
