While the idea of pink (toxic) plastic hearts and humongous amounts of trees becoming naff "I love you" cards makes us want to ban Valentine's Day forever, we are hopeless romantics deep down. In the end, we really wouldn't mind being told we're loved, as long as it's done with consideration for the planet and people, too.
We've picked our Valentine's favourites by price, so there's a little something for everyone -- for those of you who just want to show your loved one you haven't forgotten it's Valentine's Day and for those of you who want to go a bit wild…

I went to get some of those Montezuma chocolates yesterday but it's a tiny amount for the price and you can get some Tasty Turtles for £1.60 instead. They're more fun than hearts anyway and you get get two bags and still feel like you're saving money.
I recommend Konstam too - it's lovely, if bizarrely decorated.
