Video: how to save water in your toilet

Household News
Channels: Household News Tags: water-saving, toilet

Check out our quick Smart Tips video on how to save water in your loo -- Adam V explains how to fit a device like a Hippo into the cistern of your toilet, saving litres of water with every flush.

Head over to the Hippo Water Saver site for more info on the product, but remember you can do it with a brick or an old bottle, too. The Hippo costs £8 if you buy it online, but it's just £5 if you go get it in person -- and it's good to know that a lot of utility companies give them away for free, so always ask.

One more thing: at the end of June 2008, Ecover will be giving away coupons for free Hippos on the side of its packages. Happy flushing.
