Get a free eco-audit with OneWorldEnergy

Free eco-audits are being offered by a new website called OneWorldEnergy, easily beating the Mayor of London's steep price of £200-a-year for a green 'concierge service'.

With OneWorldEnergy you can book an audit from the website and an eco-expert will come out to your house to analyse your energy consumption habits. The site offers all sorts of energy-reducing products for sale, as well as insulation, carbon offsetting, green electricity tariffs and micro-power devices, and will recommend which to use to lower your energy use.

"We have simplified the minefield of information and brought together the best green energy products and services," says OneWorldEnergy managing director Rudi Schogger. "In less than 10 minutes, anyone can make their home or business more environmentally friendly. Therefore confusion and lack of time should no longer be excuses for not being green. By making being green simple, consumers will find it easier to embrace a greener life."

In order to provide these services, they've teamed up with some big names in the green industry, like the CarbonNeutral Company, Greenhelpline and Ethical Superstore.

"Consumer research shows that it's important to make low-carbon living accessible and easy to implement for people," says Sue Welland, founder and director of the CarbonNeutral Company. "There are a lot of ways that individuals can help to reduce and offset carbon emissions and the OneWorldEnergy website is a great service that will enable individuals to do just that -- at a touch of a button. The CarbonNeutral Company welcomes new initiatives to help our aim to combat climate change."

If an eco-audit sounds like too much work, then you may still be able to reduce your energy bills with OneWorldEnergy, as they're planning to launch a chain of green energy showrooms this year. You will be able to see all their products up close and get one-on-one advice from an environmental consultant. Take that, Ken.

Husqvarna Automower Solar Hybrid
The automation justifies the price if your lawn's big enough, but it's not the greenest product you'll ever buy
Hi-Tec Enviro Golf Shoes
They're a passable but unspectacular attempt at green golf shoes
Timberland Men's Earthkeepers Rippler Chuka Boots
These boots are classy, solid and boast decent eco creds, the only catch being Timberland's previous chequered record on worker rights
'Yes' Water-based Organic Lubricant and Moisturiser
It's a great lube that enhances sex without relying on fake colours, tastes or smells -- and without compromising on quality
Lelo Elise Vibrator
It's a vibrator so it should be your new best friend just because, but we're not sure it's the best eco-friendly find in the sex-toy department
