So please let a bar be mine.
I will eat it without! my Valentine
I will indulge with great pleasure,
Enjoying a piece of treasure,
At my own dreamy leisure
Not forgetting where it was made

I'm going to use the pity line. I'm a student with exams coming up and my most important piece of work for the whole year is due in on Friday. You must remember what it was like being a student, have pity and give me the chocolate so I can momentarily forget the woes of modern education.
07 February 2008 12:56pm

Because I need a lift...had a hard few years-two difficult births, second one where my daughter was 10wks early, followed by a hysterectomy which im still recovering from...depressing when im only 34. Have had to stop work and need cheering up. My son has been in hospital a lot recently-we seem to be having a major run of bad luck and need some good luck! Will share it with my girlfriends and spread the fairtrade word!

Well cocoa is from a bean, therefore it can be deemed as a vegetable extract, and vegetables and beans are good for you, so therefore chocolate is good for you.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
08 February 2008 10:49pm

09 February 2008 06:35pm
I would lilke some fair trade chocolate as I am leading a fair trade project at a local school which is helping pupils set up their own fair trade cooperative where they sell fair trade chocolate and tea/coffee/fruit to their peers. I would love to have some chocolate to share with them to say thank you for all their hard work and to prove to them that fair trade chocolate is yummy!
10 February 2008 02:48pm

I?m a chocolate rapper
And I need mo bars
But you won?t find me chewin? on no
Cadbury or Mars
Cos the farmers growing cocoa they?re kept real skint
And the company?s that use em they mean like flint
So I?m a choco rapper
And I?m in a real funk
Cos I gotta get my hands
On a Fairtrade chunk.
10 February 2008 07:03pm

10 February 2008 07:39pm
Im not smart and Im not witty
so this here rhyme may be a little.. bitty
My dentist always moans aand gives me grief
says i need to cut back on the sugar or ill have no teeth
But if its fairtrade then what can he say?
I got the farmers on my side so ill eat it all day
The milky taste would make my insides whirl
and the dark choccy bits are better than any twirl (*)
So smartplanet guys please pick me
and ill smother myself in the chocolate with gluttony
And if anyone says whats that lush smell?
ill say its fairtrade chocolate - the best they sell!
* or any other good chocolate brand
10 February 2008 08:39pm
seems a fair trade to me - a divine bar of choclate for a few words from me
11 February 2008 12:51am
I think you ought to send me some of this chocolate because I would then be able to share it with the children in my form at school (I am the form teacher) and make sure that they knew what brand it was. They would then all go out and pester their parents into buying more - instead of other less ethical brands.
I'm sure I could also get some reviews written by the kids, if you'd like.
11 February 2008 05:04pm
I suffer from severe SAD (seasonal Affective/adjustment Disorder) and as such have very low levels of serotonin during the winter months, seeing as Chocolate has many naturaly occuring opioid like chemicals in it that make one feel happy I realy deserve some bigtime.

I really care about the farmers share and develpoing trade that's fair. This choccy has a taste and quality so abundant, my other bars will become redundant. It`s chosen with flair by people who care. So, pop a load in the post to me ...and I`ll have it with my cup of fair trade tea!
