Burnt Sugar makes Easter even sweeter

Burnt Sugar Easter egg

Chocolatier Burnt Sugar is making Easter eggs even more appealing to those afflicted with a sweet tooth this year by stirring little chunks of honeycomb into its chocolate. The eggs will be hitting UK shops soon, bundled with some other goodies from the company.

"Easter Eggs are normally a chocoholic's dream -- but Burnt Sugar wanted to offer something a bit different to all those sweetie monsters out there!" says Burnt Sugar founder, Justine Cather. "The intense caramel flavour of our honeycomb, combined with a bar of our Original Crumbly Fudge, should satisfy anyone who loves classic sweets."

The eggs are all Fairtrade as well, with all ingredients sourced from third world producers who are paid a fair wage and provided with comfortable working conditions. The company mostly uses, surprise, surprise, sugar, which it buys from a cooperative in West Kenya.

You can pick up one of these Chocolate Honeycomb Easter Eggs in Sainsbury's or Oxfam for £3.49, or with an 80g Crumbly Fudge Bar in Tesco for £5.99.

Pinnacle Journey 1.0 2008
Cheap and cheerful -- the Journey hits the value bullseye. And doesn't end up a horrible compromise in doing so.
Mezzo d-10
Too costly, particularly compared to its d-9 sibling. But despite that, this is the state-of-the-art for folding bikes -- fast, light, practical.
Puma Glow Rider
The emperor's new bicycle -- all marketing and no trousers. Over-expensive, handles and folds poorly, doesn't glow well enough, and is stealable despite the weird cable-cum-downtube.
Weleda Edelweiss Sun Lotion SPF 15
It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product
LG 32LG5000
Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
