Wine website promises no moral hangovers

Organico only sells wine made from organic or biodynamic grapes

Wines produced with the power of lunar cycles are headed your way. Just launched, Organico's new site is on a mission to bring biodynamic wines to the masses. The grapes in the wines are grown in a similar way to organic methods, but incorporate holistic food pioneer Rudolf Steiner's leftfield approach of growing crops in harmony with the cycles of the sun and the moon.

We asked ethical wine expert Chris Wilson to check out the 120-strong collection. "It’s encouraging to see a site offering such a wide range of exciting old and new world wines," he enthuses. "With an increasing number of growers turning to organic or bio production, especially in France and South Africa, it won't be long before organic wine starts to receive the attention and shelf space it deserves. Organi.co.uk is certainly leading here."

The business is family-run by the Jacksons, who are particular about only working with wine growers who have a passion for wine that is produced with respect for the environment. Peter Jackson, founder and definitely not the director of Braindead, puts a premium on protecting wildlife, ensuring it "works to its natural cycle and is not interrupted by harmful chemicals".

Organico's organic and biodynamic wines are available from the website, with prices starting at £6.

It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product

Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
