CVJewellery crafts sustainable bling

CVJewellery makes truly unique gifts -- its whole range is created by Catarina Vassalo, who herself sources all beads and crystals from small independent producers. This means that no two bracelets or necklaces are the same, including any from the new range which has just gone on sale.

"I've been travelling around the world, trying to find different styles and looks of jewellery and materials. On my designs, I use a variety of materials, from Indian glass beads to Moroccan steel beads, millefiori beads, gemstones, crystals and many more," says Vassalo.

These varied materials are all sourced from sustainable producers, giving you peace of mind that no unethical practices went into your jewellery.

"I buy all my beads and materials personally, and I make it an absolute requirement that all materials are fair trade. Some of my beads are completely exclusive, made just for me by friends I acquired during my travels. Therefore there are some items that are impossible to repeat."

All the jewellery is designed and made in the UK too, so has less distance to travel before it reaches you.

If you, like a certain unnamed SmartPlanet writer, have forgotten Valentine's Day, then this jewellery may just get you of the hook.
