Ethical fashionistas, polish your shoes and put on that lovely organic dress of yours, because it's almost time to prance around at London Fashion Week's one and only event (for us), Estethica. The exhibition, which showcases both well-established and new eco and ethical designers' creations, has proved to be more than a one-season number as it gets ready for LFW for the fourth time.

We're already getting excited and can't wait to check out Junky Styling's recycled designs; Beyond Skin and Terra Plana's gorgeous, sustainable heels; Katharine Hamnett's latest messages (on her t-shirts); Ciel's undoubtedly stylish spring and summer outfits; and People Tree's cute Fairtrade clothes.

People Tree's Arabella Preston explains why the event is so important for the ethical fashion brands: "We're looking forward to the show in February -- last Estethica was People Tree's first appearance at London Fashion Week and generated lots of positive media coverage for the brand and for fair trade fashion."

The online retailer Adili, which has been making ethical and eco fashion available to us greenies long before the high street was even thinking about jumping on the bandwagon, also shares our excitement. Adili's buyer, Laurella Fox-Pitt, told SmartPlanet: "We see Estethica as the leading trade show for ethical fashion. The vibe is fantastic and as well as strong collections from known designers, we seem to always unearth great new design talent. We can't wait to visit in February."

Estethica takes place 10-13 February 2008 at The Exhibition at London Fashion Week in the grounds of the Natural History Museum.

Pinnacle Journey 1.0 2008
Cheap and cheerful -- the Journey hits the value bullseye. And doesn't end up a horrible compromise in doing so.
Mezzo d-10
Too costly, particularly compared to its d-9 sibling. But despite that, this is the state-of-the-art for folding bikes -- fast, light, practical.
Puma Glow Rider
The emperor's new bicycle -- all marketing and no trousers. Over-expensive, handles and folds poorly, doesn't glow well enough, and is stealable despite the weird cable-cum-downtube.
Weleda Edelweiss Sun Lotion SPF 15
It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product
LG 32LG5000
Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
