Win! A nearly perfect Luxury Redefined t-shirt

Win one of better thinking's super-ethical Luxury Redefined T-shirts

Channels: Fashion News Tags: organic, fairtrade, competition

Did you read our interview with 'better thinking', the creators of the ultra ethical and sustainable Luxury Redefined t-shirt?  If so, you've probably been dreaming about getting your hands on one -- and now you could do just that by entering our competition to win one Luxury Redefined t-shirt, worth over £100.

The t-shirt will come with a mini-brochure made from 100 per cent post-consumer waste paper and printed on with vegetable ink, explaining how the concept has been developed by better thinking's consultants and industry experts. It'll also explain that the Peruvian luxury cotton is organic, Fairtrade and rain-fed and that it was manufactured in England by high-end fashion company John Smedley.

But don't expect it to be covered in a patchwork of labels. Better thinking says: "Although the garments are made from naturally irrigated, Fairtrade, organic cotton, neither Fairtrade nor organic logos feature on the product label -- though they are clearly visible in some of the photographs in the brochure and on the website."

Better thinking's Mike Betts explains: "For the typical sustainable luxury customer, it's important to know the provenance of the products they buy, but the communication of this has to be managed in a very sophisticated way. These are, after all luxury garments -- they're for people who care, but who don't want to wear their ethics on their sleeves. Ultimately, they're for people who understand the true meaning of luxury in the 21st Century."

This competition has now closed. We'll be annoucing the lucky winner here shortly.

It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product

Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
