Nick & Milly bring eco beauty to Bond St

Nick & Milly's Bath and Bodycare range
Beauty News
Channels: Beauty News Tags: fairtrade, biodegradable, vegan

Nick & Milly hair and beauty products aren't cheap, but with the range now stocked in Fenwick department store on New Bond Street, we commend them for producing a sustainable range that holds on to the kind of exclusivity and quality normally associated with traditional, non-green products.

The range also includes a new limited edition Wild Jasmine candle, perfect for the bathroom, which is made from soy and palm oil. Only 150 will be made, which is perhaps wise because at £45 each, demand will probably be limited. The candle is smoke-free and particularly good for allergy sufferers, claims Nick & Milly.

The whole of their range is fair trade and biodegradable, so you're not in danger of damaging developing economies or the environment while scrubbing in the shower. The range is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, because there are no animal products in any of the range, and none are tested on animals. Many of the shampoos, conditioners, shower gels and moisturisers include jasmine, rose and coconut. "Rose and Jasmine are known for being kind to sensitive skin, they are also known for their healing and relaxing properties," claims the company’s website.

But, as we said, these sustainable goodies don't come cheap: shampoo is £16.50, conditioners £18.50, shower gel £28 and moisturiser a whopping £30. The company are aiming to release a range of lingerie in the near future, which will also be available from Fenwick's store.
