Organic pampering -- the Bamford way

A selection of products from Bamford's new organic or natural body care collection
Beauty News
Channels: Beauty News Tags: organic, natural

From the Lady (Bamford) who brought us organic food from her farm in the Cotswolds and a collection of luxury organic clothing, we now get a range of organic and natural body care products.

In line with the whole Bamford and Daylesford concept of enjoying life's luxuries in a wholesome way, the Bamford Body Collection consists of products made with plant extracts and essential oils rather than synthetic chemicals. The Organic Collection's four products and the Organic Baby Collection's five are all made with 95 per cent Soil Association-certified ingredients. The Botanic Collection's 13 products are not certified organic, though Bamford assures us there are no parabens, sodium lauryl sulphates, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances or colourings in any of them.

The Bamford Body Collection is developed with the high-end organics and luxury consumer in mind, which is just as well with prices ranging from £5 for 50ml of the natural shampoo or conditioner to £36 for 200ml for the organic camomile body oil.

The Bamford Body Collection will be available at the Hay Barn and all Bamford and Bamford and Sons stores at the end of November.

Weleda Edelweiss Sun Lotion SPF 15
It's a very good, honest sun lotion and we appreciate that -- we're excited about Weleda as a company, but not overly so about this particular product
LG 32LG5000
Stylish and with good performance, this is a nice TV, especially at just over £400 -- but the high energy use is a turn off
Brompton M3L Folding Bike
This British-made folding bike has small wheels but goes for big money -- and is built for practicality
Dahon Jack 2008 Folding Bike
Bigger wheels do mean better speed and stability -- but a bigger, more awkward folded form, too
Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000
You won't find a better TV for picture in its class, but you will find ones with superior green credentials
