sounds like a great programme. i just hope its not one of those where the young spoiled sheep (oh sorry fashion victims) act horrified and then just go back and shop in topshop and primark agin when they get back from their great trip to india

i just cant help thinking of the poor kids in china that have to deal with our e-waste and i really don't feel saving energy justifies upgrading and chucking your old pc. wait til it dies anyway and then go for a real efficient one. and we shouldn't just send our old crap to africa either for them to deal with. if the pc consumes too much energy one place it'll obviously do the same elsewhere too

but yeah, they should also just make less packaging themselves in the first place

at least they r trying and anything that promotes food packaging recycling and recycled food packaging is a step in the right direction! In my office the bins are packed with sadnwich boxes and bags and trays after every lunch time and we even have pretty good recycling facilities already. People just don't know how to recycle it
