What would a better, greener community look like to you? Come and build it with us! April 28-29, 2012 Downtown Las Vegas! Mission Building sustainable communities together, one block at a time. Description What if we took a rundown forgotten block and rebuilt it into a model community? What if we upped the anty and said everything about it had to promote green, sustainable living? What if we did it in 6 weeks? Well we are! April 28-29, 2012

This April 28-29 event is just the first in our ongoing collaborate local efforts to reinvest in our community. A literal Community Reinvestment Action from the grassroots up .. by and for the community.

Our city projects involving community gardens, sustainable urban agriculture, social enterprises, artistic ventures, etc are envisioned. So, this city project specific crowd-funding vehicle will get a very close look by all of us involved ... and all of the others who will become involved.

a very smart idea?
#greenclimate #cleantech Interactive design portals are a good idea in the design of smarter cities. Here in Denmark, Copenhagen and ??rhus have been designated smarter cities and the Island of Bornholm will be the first smart island. I will try to convince the city authorities that "bottom up" programming of smarter cities deserves a chance, alongside twith "top-down" state, city, and EU projects.

This exists in US already: CivicSponsor
If you want to crowdfund public projects, we've been signing up jurisdictions around the US for over 14 months now at CivicSponsor.org. We have parklets and school facilities on the site now, and we're working on bike lanes, bike sharing programs, and dog parks around the country.
