Heterosexual men are always aware that women are watching. They do remarkably well considering the handicap! Just think what they might accomplish if there were no females. Either ditch this study, or get rid of the fairer sex! Sorry, I'd have phrased that better, but a lovely lass was glancing my way.

Hey, men are just stupid when it comes to having anything at all to do with women.

what we already know: 1) men readily think about sex/mating/women; and 2) men have a one-track mind. So, in this study, #1 was primed to kick in, and then of course #2 reduced their performance on a test which gave them no personal benefit. Why concentrate on a stupid Stroop test when there are more pleasant thoughts running through your mind? "I bet she has big -- red! no, blue! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

I've seen many women lose their composure. It goes both ways, but the study would require some changes in order to validate this point.
