Most people will use the past tense when talking about the past.

I am very confused about that being used in profiling.

If anything, if the study was done with "Psycho's vs normal Murderers" as suggested, it simply profiles literacy within the criminal community?

Wouldn't the study need to also be carried out among non convicted citizens?
