Nevada first to approve guidelines for self-driving cars

This is a technology that I have been waiting for.

But, I do not understand having to need a special operator's license in order to 'drive'. I thought the whole idea was for the car to drive itself. I envision keying in a destination and settling myself into a cozy recliner to crochet or take a quick nap. That would be a self-driving car.

No kidding...I was hoping that for once when we go out to dinner I didn't have to be the DD and would get to have a good glass of wine.. If it can't do that, not interested.....[;>}
